A. BiGuard 30 router has two WAN ports. When you configure the BiGuard 30’s Dual WAN as “Load Balance” mode, the outgoing traffic will route through WAN1 or WAN2 by the traffic management policy you set.
B. In “Load Balance” mode, you can configure BiGuard 30’s “Service Detection” as “enable” (default). BiGuard 30 will enable its probing mechanism to decide if WAN1 or WAN2 is in service. When WAN1 fails, the outgoing traffic will route through WAN2. When WAN2 fails, the outgoing traffic will route through WAN1.
