How to connect to modem by using serial cable (RS-232)?
Mostly you can use the HyperTerminal which the windows has built-in or other such kind of software. Basically, you can find the HyperTerminal program at “ Start” => "Programs" => "Accessories" => "Communications" and do the settings as below.
Connect using (COM Port): COM1 (It depends on which port you connect on PC.)
