Billion Receives Best Brand Value Appraisal,
winning the “Wireless Router Award” from Australia's PC Authority magazine

Taipei, Taiwan - Billion Electric Co. Ltd. (Taiex: 3027) has been awarded the “Wireless Router Award” in PC Authority’s “Reliability and Service Awards 2006”. The award was presented by Australia’s PC Authority magazine and is based on the results of the Reliability and Service survey, which features in the January 2007 issue.

This nationwide survey has been conducted over three months and received more than 8500 responses from across Australia. Various manufacturers and product lines were ranked by asking different questions regarding reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction by the PC Authority magazine. In the wireless router category, Billion outperformed the other five manufacturers with the highest grade of six stars. The article states that “90% of Billion respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with their wireless router’s range and speed.” Furthermore “80% of Billion's customers were satisfied or very satisfied with their reliability. 92% of Billion's customers said they would buy another Billion wireless router for general satisfaction”, according to PC Authority Australia.

This survey result has significantly raised Billion’s brand value in terms of product credibility and reliability. Billion’s wireless router range has been a resounding success with its good reputation affirmed by the IT publication. “I’m very glad to see that Billion's brand was recognized with the “Wireless Router Award” by PC Authority magazine in Australia.
